14 June: The Day We Lazed in Bed

We woke up late today, and K made French Toast for brunch.. i helped him of course, but he did most of the frying.. This time it turned out much better than the previous one..

And while I was walking around the house and admiring the view, i saw a beautiful full rainbow. That just made my day completely.. = ) Video clip to be posted again soon...

And some photos of the inside of the beach house..

After brunch, we watched another DVD "Longest Yard", another comedy starring Adam Sandler. We got nothing else to go anyway, cause the car is stuck and we cannot drive out. We did go out and I tried to push the car while K accelerated. But the heavy car didn't even move. It rained again in the morning, so the mud did not dry at all. So eventually, we decided to just lie in bed and wait for Neil and Glenis to arrive. We also decided to send them a text message to inform and apologize to them that we had damaged their lawn. They eventually came around 230pm and laughed at our car getting stuck. We felt so bad and worried, but apparently they told us this has happened many times before. Neil had to ask his neighbour for help. His neighbour drove his tractor over and pulled our car out of the mud / mess. It was quite a sight.. = )

Since our car is out now, K and I drove out after a long chat with Neil and Glenis. We went to explore the town, and had a nice peaceful walk along the Marina on a long wooden plank right in the middle of where all the yatches and big boats were parked. We also saw a lot of expensive looking beach houses and apartments, and many ducks swimming at the bay.. It was really interesting looking at the names of the yatches. My favourite was one called "Nauti-Buoy". How creative right!!

After the walk, we headed to the supermarket again, this time to buy ingredients for dinner. We were going to cook Spaghetti (chicken) Bolagnaise (cause i have craving) and baked crumbed fish fillet for dinner, and for Neil and Glenis too.. This is the result, which was again delicious. Neil and Glenis kept complimenting us for the wonderful dinner:

Dinner was followed by more chatting, and Neil served ice-cream on a cone. It was Hokey Pokey flavor. First time i tried it, and i loved it! I never knew something so vanilla flavor looking can taste so good.. = )

While watching TV and chatting, i noticed Glenis kept looking at my stomach. There was once she asked me if i was okay, cause i think i sniffed a little, and maybe i looked sick. So i told her i am just so stuffed and rubbed my stomach. For some reason, i guess to stop her from looking at my stomach, i told her that i might be pregnant and therefore the big tummy. She then started to comment, as if she now completely understands, that yes, my tummy does seem big, and i am very round around my tummy area, not like i am full from a meal at all, but more like i am pregnant.. She sounded so excited at the possibility that I might be. It was nice. = )

K and I had our showers and headed to bed after that. We had a long day planned for tomorrow, upon Neil and Glenis' recommendations!
