Sawadee Krub! I'm now in The Land of Smiles for a weekend getaway- my birthday treat to myself! = )
The flight here was uneventful, there was no in-flight entertainment since it was a short flight, and i was super tired from waking up at 6am today to catch this flight. Also, the one thing i hate most about flying is the way it makes my skin so dry and uncomfortable! I had delicious fried rice with fish fillet, fruits and a bad tummy ache during the flight. I also saw this really cute caucasian baby girl on board. Her baby was kinda bringing her for a walk / crawl along the aisle since the plane was half empty. A very happy baby. I hope my baby will also be like this!
Upon reaching the airport, i was "processed" by a super unfriendly immigration officer. So much for "The Land of Smiles!". She looked as fierce as this guy i met at the airport:
I've kinda planned out my itinerary for the weekend. Basically, i will participate in 4 different types of marathons: Massage Marathon, Bird's Nest Soup Marathon, Eating Marathon and Shopping Marathon!! = P
Mom and Sis both asked me to buy handbags for them.. SIGH.. i hope my tiny luggage can fit all the shopping that i'm gonna pack!
It's now raining with thunder and lightning outside. I hope it will be bright and sunny over the weekend so i can do my outdoor market shopping!
