Jogging and Toad Fright at Pasir Ris Park..

K and I went jogging with B on Monday at Pasir Ris Park.

We had parked at this new carpark near to Downtown East, and asked B to meet us at the "Spider Web" playground which was at the other end.. Before K and I started jogging to meet B, we went to the washroom.. I was washing my hands in the washroom when i spotted a small brown toad in the basin.. I opened my mouth to scream but nothing came out. My nose was running at that time, so i was about to clear it into the basin.. luckily i didn't !!! So gross..

We jogged for about 4km that night, under the big round moon.. it was a happy jog for me. Half the time, i was just staring at the moon. So beautiful.. Tried to take some photos of it, but the photos totally don't justify how beautiful the moon looked that night..



After the jog, we went (rather, we jogged) to Downtown East in search for dinner.. I didn't realize that Cathay had a cinema at Downtown East. In fact, I can't even remember the last time i went to Downtown East. Everything looked so different. They have this really nice Ferris Wheel in the building facing the main roads, which i thought was a cheerful sight ! Dinner was at a Hongkong cafe called "STREETS"; we had pork ribs and stewed beef noodles.. lousy food and super expensive. $42 for 3 persons including drinks. Heck, their ice water alone costs 50 cents!

After dinner, K and I drove back with the top down and the night breeze blowing in my face and hair.. I will try to go jogging more often from now on!
