I just realized that John McCain is 72 years old this year.. Can't believe they are going to consider installing a 72 year old as the President of the US.. talk about democracy! What's even more amazing is that McCain himself actually wants to undertake one of the most difficult jobs in the world.. To think that we Singaporeans are thinking of retiring at the age of 62! How shameful..

McCain's former Beauty Queen running mate Pralin is raising eyebrows over her lack of experience in foreign policies, plus the fact that she is the second women ever to be considered a candidate for VP in the elections.. At first i was thinking hmm.. this Pralin quite pretty.. it was only after that then i realized she was a former beauty queen.. This should kinda help McCain win over all the feminist voters who are pissed off that Obama didn't choose Hilary as his running mate.. = )
Then there is the Mother of all storms: Gustav. Supposedly worse than hurricane Katrina, folks in New Orleans are all going crazy trying to evacuate from their homes before storm Gustav strikes.. over 1 million people evacuating.. that's like one quarter of the entire Singapore population.. I wonder where / which country we can evacuate to if something like this happens here.. Underground MRT (subway) stations?!
