I met K for lunch at Suntec City yesterday, and because i wasn't feeling too good, we decided to have Japanese food: yummy, healthy sushi and the prospect of sipping hot green tea was exactly what i needed!
While i was walking over to meet K, i passed by the optical shop with the Armani sunglasses i was eyeing on. I decided to walk in and salivate at it one more time, but to my horror, it was no longer sitting on the shelves!! = (
I then walked over to the other shop that carried the same pair, and it was still there, the price didn't change as well, still very ex.. = (
Lunch was at Sakae Sushi, they had this 60-minutes buffet lunch where you can eat all the normal coloured dishes, get a complimentary udon and red plate dish, and free flow of green tea plus mochi for dessert.. All for $15.
Throughout our lunch, we listened to the likes of "Macarena", "Scatman's World", "Be My Lover" (la da da di da da da da).. all the disco hits of the 90s. Super retro! Haha.. K was stunned for a while when they played "Macarena" over the speakers. He was like: "This song should be banned!" = )
I had my favourite cha soba, edamame, kani maki and plenty of green tea.. I felt a bit cheated though, cause the menu said "Free flow of green tea", but what they really meant was ONE bag of green tea, BUT free flow of hot water!
After lunch, K and I went over to Carrefour to buy Ferene's birthday present: A extra large black color Deuter backpack. I paid my phone bill, and took a bus back to office after that.. I still can't believe i did a 100m dash in my 3-inch high heels to catch the stupid bus !
