A night of Badminton, Basketball and Zhi Cha..

Today's sports session was not one of the best i must say.. firstly, everybody was late.. by the time we reached the center, it was already 15 mins past 6pm.. so we had only like 45 minutes to play.. but there were only 3 rackets..
Then at 7pm sharp, a group of middle aged aunties came in to take over the court.. i haven't even warmed up yet..
Then there was this Malay looking lady who had such a grouchy face that i couldn't help but wonder what her problem was.. One of her friends started playing at the other court, but she put her bags near our court, so i asked her politely if they had booked 2 courts. She was so rude and replied: "Yes! Yes!" with an irritated look on her face.. I was so pissed i just looked back at her and said: "Okay, why are you so irritated?!" Then i walked off. I mean what is her problem?? Maybe she's having her menopause or something.. = P
Anyway, after we were "kicked out" of the badminton courts, part 2 of our sports day begin at the basketball court.. today's headcount was just nice, even number 8. So we split into 2 teams (4 vs. 4) and played a few games.. it was not just a game of basketball, but also a match-making session, as all of us were trying to hook up these 2 single colleagues of mine.. looks like there is some progress though!!
After the game, we drove on to Poh Kee restaurant near Tiong Bahru market for dinner. Had loads of delicious Zhi Cha dishes: Champagne spare ribs, chilli kang kong, chicken cubes, cereal prawns, water cress soup.. yum yum.. Headed home about 930pm..
Tomorrow morning i will be playing badminton at the airport, hopefully this time i can really sweat it out. Catching "The Mummy" in the afternoon.. Hopefully, it won't be as crappy as the "Red Cliff". The latter is a total waste of my time!
K is having his IPPT tomorrow morning.. hopefully he will pass and get it over with..
