T cube: Tales of a Tired Traveller

I am so tired...

Tired of not having the hot and sunny Singapore weather and instead, having to tolerate the cold every single day and night. It just gets colder everyday..

Tired of not having my favourite food easily accessible to me within a drive away and instead, having to eat bread and sandwiches every day, or lousy Asian food.

Tired of not being to sleep well at night either because it's too freakin cold, there's no heater in my bedroom, or because of a very uncomfortable bed..

Tired of my whole body aching from working at the kiwi pack house or at the flower farms..

Tired of always having to hurriedly get dressed immediately after i get out from the shower, lest i freeze to death in the cold..

Tired of always being in a huddling position, so much so that i no longer know how to sit or stand straight.

Tired of wearing so many layers of clothes and having to feel all the weight on my small shoulders.. And the uncomfortable feeling of wearing long johns under my pants..

Tired of not knowing whether i am pregnant or not..

Tired of not knowing where to go or what to do, or whether we will have enough money to do it..

Tired of arguing with K because of all the above..

I want to go home..

  1. Hollywood Tai Tai Says:

Poor baby... *hugs hugs* Hang in there, once June 22 comes, you guys will know whether to come back to Singapore or not.

Anyway, the purpose of the trip is to experience a different lifestyle outside of Singapore right? There is no 4 seasons to experience in Singapore, no fresh fruits, no fresh sausages, beautiful beaches or lambs! Let go of all the homesickness and take NZ for what it is okay? You are going to look back on this time with fondness and laughter once the baby comes and your life is tied up with work and home. :)

    Jia you babe!!!
